Interior design for southwest Atlanta. Brick ranches, split-levels and daylight basements on wooded lots — the houses this side of town is full of, designed properly for the people who live in them.
The idea
Most of the houses in 30331 were built between 1955 and 1995, and most of them were built well — solid brick, real framing, rooms sited to catch the light on a sloping, wooded lot. Then forty years happened. Partition walls went up. A kitchen was redone in 1994. The basement got panelled and forgotten.
There are usually two options on offer around here: leave it alone, or gut it and install the same grey kitchen as everywhere else. This is the third one. Find the original logic of the house, decide what is worth keeping, and build from there. It is almost always more than people expect.

What we do
Two hours on site. A straight read on what the house is doing well, what is fighting you, and what to do first. Written up afterwards.
Flat fee · credited
One room, fully specified — layout, finishes, lighting, furniture and a sourcing list. You execute it on your own schedule.
Flat fee per room
Whole-home or multi-room. Concept through specification, procurement, trade coordination and install.
By scope
Kitchens, baths, basement conversions, and opening up floorplans that were chopped into pieces decades ago.
Phased
The work
Not a showroom. Rooms that hold a family, take wear, and look better in year ten than they did on install day.

Who this is for
Most of our clients have been in the house three years or more. They knew what they were buying — the lot, the light, the bones. They have been meaning to get to it. They do not want to be talked into someone else's taste, and they are tired of being shown the same kitchen.
The work is collaborative and it is specific to your house. Nothing here is a template.
